Anna Badstreet sighed quietly as she was seen in the lobby of the condominium building she was in just outside of Newark. The file for the case that she was working on had a lot of information in it and she had to make sure she covered everything. The case that she was representing had a lot that was expected of her law firm for the outcome and could give a good boost for the firm if they won it.
“Is there lot on your mind Anna?”
Anna looked up to see Dakota Huntress walk into the building and walk towards the cluster of seats that the pale lawyer/wrestler was sitting in.
“You know full well that I have a lot going away from the squared circle right now. Things at the law firm aren’t going to do themselves. I have to keep track of the cases that I am a part of on top of my training and matches that I am participating in here in New Jersey.”
“You really need to learn how to relax Anna. You stress out far too much with what you do with your firm.”
“You would too with the amount of important cases that I work on. You should talk about stressing out too much as you have far too much work on your plate and you focus far too much on that work instead of finding a way to expand to yourself away from that.”
Dakota chuckled lightly at Anna’s retort.
“You know me far too well Anna.”
“That is what happens when I was around my brother for a few years after you made your debut in the business all those years ago.”
Dakota nodded before she took a seat beside Anna, stretching her legs in front of her while looking at her old friend.
“You have another match coming up in The Factory I assume?”
“I do. It is a triple threat match against two other women who have different senses of inflated egos of what they bring to the early history of The Factory.”
“Care to elaborate there?”
“Nora Bauer has made it clear on the social network that she thinks she is the only one that knows and understands the world of violence and she has yet to meet someone in The Factory that is not as violent as her.” Anna rolled her eyes. “She has yet to meet The Psychotic Sadist in the ring yet.” Anna paused. “She has not seen the violence and destruction that this psychotic woman will bring to a match and I will gladly show what will happen to those who underestimate what I bring to a match.”
“A lot of people have underestimated you during your career. It shows that things have not changed much over the years.”
Anna chuckles as she placed the file folder she had in her lap onto a small table beside her. She pulled out a small knife from under the sleeve of her long-sleeved t-shirt on her left forearm and began twirling it between her fingers. Dakota smirked as she watched her old friend and was glad that there was no one else in the lobby to see Anna with the small knife.
“Nora is no different and she will find out what will happen when someone decides to underestimate me and my skills. She will be given some new scars to think about and I will gladly scar that pretty little face of hers in the process.” Anna paused. “Don’t get me wrong, she must have some skills in order to be in the business for as long as she has and I respect that.” Anna paused again. “There will come a time for Nora to realize that there are others that can easily match or even best her during a match and it will happen when she least expects it.”
Anna continued to twirl the knife as she moved from Nora to the other opponent in the triple threat match.
“Vanity Fulbright’s ego is fueled by the little following that she has behind her away from wrestling. She is of the opinion that she is better than everyone that she crosses paths with due to that fact but it will be something that can lead to her downfall if she is not careful.” Anna paused. “Also what may lead to her downfall will be the tongue lashings that she tends to give to people leading up to a match.”
“More than one meaning to that Anna…”
Anna rolled her eyes to Dakota’s comment as she continued to twirl the knife.
“Tell me something that I don’t already know. Vanity will find a way to lash out against others because they do not conform to the beliefs that she holds dear and that will eventually lead to the downfall of the “All Mother” of the cult that she has eventually built for herself.” Anna paused. “The words that are dished out from her will be used against her and those who face her will enjoy twisting those words into mind games in more ways than one.”
“It is something that you tend to enjoy doing.”
Anna nodded in agreement to Dakota’s comment.
“Vanity will need to bring any and all skill that she has through her veins to this match against 2 women who know how to take full advantage of the violent environment around them to lead towards a victory.” Anna paused. “If Vanity cannot keep up with the others in the match, she will be left behind while Nora and I continue to prove ourselves in the world of The Factory.” Anna chuckles sarcastically. “Something that Vanity will need to learn if she wishes to make an impact in her own right.” Anna pauses. “She also will need to think of herself first if she wants to get anywhere instead of relying on her little gang of ghouls or her beliefs in order to survive in The Factory.”
Anna stops twirling her knife and holds onto it tightly as a psychotic glaze suddenly appeared in her dark brown eyes.
“Vanity and Nora will find out why I am called the Sadistic Beauty. It was not just a moniker that was given to me a long time ago but it is a moniker that calls to me well. The beauty of yours truly is only a front to what I truly offer to the world: inflicting pain on other and inflicting a lot of it to everyone that crosses my path.”
The scene fades to black as Anna is heard laughing sadistically while returning her knife to its sheath before going to her feet, folder in hand. Dakota is seen joining her at the elevator to discuss matters about her nightclubs and other matters.
