*Desmond’s Office at Club 6 (OH) 9*
MARCH 6 2018
It’s been at least a day, but her face was still bruised enough that she sat in Desmond’s office wearing dark aviator shades, trying her best to keep her cool as much as possible. Meanwhile Adriana’s sits in the chair next to her with her legs crossed, glaring at him with the fire of a thousand suns. Dez looks at her slightly confused. Without a word, Jamie removes her sunglasses revealing a bruised and slightly swollen right eye. The small red blood blotch on the corner of her eye making her stare all the more intense and intimidating.
“This”, she points to her eye “was not from my match. All of this was from being jumped in the parking lot so I can give a message from Incognito to you saying that he’s ‘back and ready to collect’ Whatever the hell that’s supposed mean.”
“Shite.” He rubs the bridge of his nose and lets out a sigh.“It’s…complicated.”
“She didn’t ask for a fucking Facebook relationship status!” Adriana quickly chimes in. She gets ready to lash out some more until she feels Jamie’s hand on top of hers. They look at each other in a silent exchange before Adriana immediately relaxes in the chair and crosses her arms in a huff. Despite the circumstances of the current conversation, Jamie couldn’t help but let a small smile tug at the corner of her mouth. One of the things that she’s always loved about the Latina spitfire is her relentless passion in the streets and in the sheets.
“Dez, the only reason why I didn’t come here after the show and drop you where you stood is because you’re like family to me. But trust and believe when I say you better start talking right now. What the fuck is going on?”
He looked at her, using his eyes to express apology and regret.
“Just...just give me some time, okay? I swear everything will get fix, but I can’t give any details. Not now.”
“Okay, we’re gonna leave before I end up breaking something in here. Adriana, let’s go.”
Jaime really wanted to leap across the desk and choke the shit out of him with his own tie, she was so furious. They both get up and are starting to walk out of the room only stopping when Desmond tries to reason.
“Jamie, please just hear me ou-"
“NO!” She turns around and points a finger towards his direction “I’m done hearing you talk because the more bullshit that spews out your fucking mouth, the more I have to restrain myself from punching you in the face!
She wanted to go off some more, but before things could continue to escalate and get worse, Adriana grabs her by the hand and practically drags her out of the room. Dez tries to remain cool as a cucumber, but he fails by balling his fist and knocking over items and a small stack of papers off his desk.
*Adriana’s Photoshoot*

“Ewww, babe! Did you see his twitter page?”
Adriana snuggles in closer to Jamie, as far as the chair she sat in would let her, showing her the phone. Jamie takes it and begins to scroll the way. The more she scrolls, the more her eyebrows begun to scrunch in a frown and finally, she stops.
“Ughhhhh.” Jamie let’s out in disgust and pretends to gag. “This is so dumb. I feel like I’m getting punished for Desmond’s bullshit. A Gosch style match? Do they fucking want the audience to fall asleep?”
Adriana chuckles and rests her chin on Jamie’s shoulder. She sneaks in a kiss on her cheek and pulls Jaime’s hair behind her ear, getting a better look at the now less noticeable bruise. Her face slightly falls as she begins to be overtaken by guilt. She wanted to be there for Jamie’s first match, but it was on the same night as an important modeling gig in New York and was more than willing to cancel, even found someone who would take her place, but Jamie urged her to go. Though it doesn’t make her feel any more better about what happened.
“I feel like a shitty girlfriend and should’ve been there with you. I shouldn't have taken that stupid modeling gig in New York.”
“Don’t do that. Don’t make yourself feel guilty for having your own life.”
“I know. I just..” she breathes out a sigh of frustration “I’m not letting you go there alone again, Jamie. I'm going to be by your side during every step of the way after what that bastard did to you”
She really didn’t want to get Adriana to get dragged into this, but if there was a person that was more stubborn and over protective than Jamie, then it was her Latina lover. When Adriana came home that night and found out what had happened, Jamie had to damn near physically restrain her from making the drive to go see Desmond in the middle of the night and beat the ever loving piss out of him. Jamie takes another moment to look at the phone again. She begins to text and focus on the screen. Making it pretty obvious that she was looking for something. After a bit, her jaw tenses up and she just shakes her head.
"Okay, Now I'm pissed."
"Why?"
“Do you remember how Graham kept going back and forth with Thadd and Crosby on Social media? He hasn’t acknowledge me. Not once. It’s pissing me off because all that says to me is how much he doesn't see me as a threat. It's complete disrespect. One of his biggest weaknesses is underestimating his opponents. He's already assuming that he won because the match is on his terms and he has more experience than I do. He thought he could take the FloBros to school in their own environment, but he and Nora failed. Not to mention there were barely any weapons used in their match so that makes my match with him even more bullshit considering how obvious it is he bitched about the style of wrestling that the factory is about. The fact is that he underestimated them, he’s underestimating me even more so, and again it will be his downfall. ”
Let’s be real. There’s not enough submission and technical training that could be done in two weeks that could adequately prepare Jamie for this type of match. It was like being put into a room blind folded and then being told to escape. The best case scenario would be for her to play on his weakness as best as she can and he was already doing a good job of that by himself.
“I’m not afraid of some jock who drinks eggs yolks for breakfast and spends his free time posting gym selfies of his his muscled ass on social media. He’s all strength and that’s it. Spends all of his time at the gym looking at himself in the mirror to make sure his form is right, but doesn’t even bother to work on his cardio. Not saying that I’m some frail weakling, but he outweighs me by 85 pounds. Therefore whatever speed he feels he has will be null and void because he has more to lug around. He’s going to gas himself easily and that will give me just more opportunity to slip away whenever he tries to grip and grapple. That will do nothing but piss him off. It didn’t take much for Thadd and Crosby to get under his skin. Imagine how much he's going to get frustrated and unravel when he has trouble in a match where he's supposed to be an expert in. That’s where he’ll lose control and the composure he barely has to begin with.”
Jamie shoves the phone back in her pocket when a flamboyant man struts up to them.
“Adriana! You’re up, girl!”
Adriana tells Jamie she’ll be back in a bit and presses a chaste kiss to her lips before scurrying off to finish the last touches of her makeup and completing the rest of her shoot. Jamie immediately misses her presence because without her around she’s somewhere she never liked to be. Alone in her own thoughts. She was brought back down to reality when she felt someone occupy Adriana’s chair. As soon as the faint smell of White Vanilla Creed Aventus wafts toward her direction, she knew who it was. She did buy it for him as a Christmas gift, after all.
“Hello, darling.”
Jamie doesn’t even bother to give him the pleasure of acknowledgement. She just continues to stare straight ahead with her arms crossed, hugging herself tightly as Desmond leans over and presses a kiss to her temple. He waits a beat, but after realizing that she’s basically ignoring him, he clears his throat.
“Look, uh...I know you’re not very happy with me right now, but I just came by here to say I’m sorry for the mess I’ve gotten you into and that I will be at Warzone to straighten this out.”
Jamie just nods her head and looks at her nails. “Good.”
Nothing else more needed to be said. Desmond has known her long enough that she will forgive, but not forget. A simple nod is much better than what could’ve been if he were anyone else, so he takes her response as what it is and that she’s still a little pissed.
“Sooooo...A Gosch Style Match, eh?”
Jamie’s head falls forward and she quickly jerks it back up.
“I’m sorry. I started to fall asleep at the mention of Gosh Style.”
“Gosch.”
“What-the-fuck-ever." She says annoyed that Desmond corrected her. "Anyway...Graham is a technical wrestler and submission specialist. I’ll give him that much. But Stian prides himself on the same thing and he’s even better at it, but it still took a tag team move from him and his bimbo to beat me. Graham may have Xena by his side, but I can play the numbers game, too.”
Jamie looks over at Adriana who's now near the window, striking several poses for the photographer.Desmond was gonna say something, but glances toward Adriana is when he notices that she’s taking a moment glare at him in between takes of her shoot. Desmond just gives her a small smile and sorta waves, but is a little bit taken back when all he got was a middle finger in return.
“Wow. She really is pissed at me isn’t she?”
“Pretty much. I already know she’s planning on being at Warzone as well and I’m not going to try and stop her. With that being said anything happens to her because of this thing you got going on with Incognito, I swear on my life, he will be the very least if your problems. Are you catching my drift?”
Catch it? It basically smacked him in the face. Her point was definitely made loud and clear.
“Fair enough.”
“Why are you being so damn coy about this? The last time you were so sneaky and secretive was when…”
When Cain was busted and sent to prison. She didn’t even have to finish her line of thought for Dez to know what she was thinking.
“Exactly. Just rust the process, Jamie.”
