Anna was in makeshift office space in a law firm in the outskirts of New York City that was affiliated with her firm back in Reno. She was on her phone but the person on the other end was not known right away.
“Look Dakota, the dealings with that city councillor will take some time and you know it. She is the swing vote in getting that vote done.” Anna paused. “You should know full well that she is very stubborn but she will be dealt with in due time….” Anna paused again. “Dakota calm your ass down. I understand that if this vote does not go your way but this is a delicate matter when it comes to Nicolae and the “Family” that both of you belong to and certain steps need to be taken to make sure that things are successful instead of using brute force.” Anna sighed quietly. “I will let you know how things go when I speak with the….”
A silent knock was heard on Anna’s office door and she looked up to see the Operations Manager of The Factory, Dick Oswald, standing in the doorway.
“I am sorry Dakota but I am about to walk into an important meeting. Once I find out things about that special matter of yours I will call.”
She ended the conversation and hung up the phone and motioned Dick to come into her office.
“Settling in well with the secondary location for practing law I see.”
Anna folded her arms and looked at the man that was standing in front of her.
“What can I do for you Dick?”
“I assume you got the message from my intern?”
“Yes I did and I already made the visit with the head honcho.”
“You didn’t tell him how we crossed paths did you?”
“Why? You do not want him to know that you have a shady past? Or how I was able to save your ass on more than one occasion from spending a lengthy amount of time in jail? I even continue to do so now?”
“He doesn’t have….”
A finger was raised into the air from Anna, cutting off Dick.
“You do not have to worry about your shady business that you have not fully gotten removed yourself from Dick being revealed to him.” Anna paused. “I do follow the lawyer-client privilege rule.”
Anna noticed Dick’s reaction to her declaration before she folded her arms.
“As for the boss, he made me a very interesting offer. He wants me to be his lawyer while I am here at The Factory while I am here on the wrestler contract.”
Dick is seen arching a brow to the lawyer/wrestler.
“What did you tell him?”
“Nothing yet but I was going to call him after I was done the conversation I was having when you walked into my office.”
“If you want, I can pass on your decision.”
Anna narrowed her gaze to him for a moment as she heard the anxious tone in his voice. She opened a drawer and pulled out an envelope that contained a letter for the owner of The Factory. The envelope was closed with a wax seal.
“He will know if it was tampered with between the time you leave here and the time this letter enters his hands. I am a bit old fashioned in a way by using the wax seal as well.”
She allowed him to leave when her secretary entered the room with the a file that Anna had required for a recent case.

It took me some time to ponder on making this decision as it will be a very important one and one that should not be made lightly. Legalities for sports, especially combat sports, are a sensitive matter and will need to be cautious in this regards. Also I will have to consider the fact that I am also a participant in combat sports I have learned to understand the life and world of combat sports.
If I were to take this position that you have offered to me, it may be considered by some, in the business and out of it, to be a conflict of interest on my part because of the fact that I am also a member of the roster at The Factory and I would be affiliated with the owner in a non-wrestling capacity.
With sometime of due consideration, I will accept the position of your lawyer while still on The Factory roster.
